Add Ingredient

Summary #

Easily add ingredients like chicken, heavy cream, or cilantro to your inventory to ensure precise tracking and management.

Steps #

1. Log in to Your Account
   Enter your credentials to access the system.
2. Navigate to Inventory
   From the main menu, click on Inventory.
3. Access Ingredients
   Select Ingredients from the submenu.
4. Add a New Ingredient
   • Click the Add button.
   • Enter the Name of the ingredient (e.g., chicken, cilantro).
   • Enter a unique Code.
   • Select a Category (e.g., vegetables, meat).
   • Select a Purchase Unit (e.g., kg, liters).
   • Select a Consumption Unit (e.g., grams, ml).
   • Enter the Conversion Rate (e.g., 1 kg = 1000 grams).
   • Enter the Purchase Price.
   • Enter the Cost per Unit.
   • Set the Low Quantity Threshold to receive alerts when stock is low.
5. Submit the Ingredient
   Click Submit to save the new ingredient.

Expected Result #

The newly added ingredient will be listed in the inventory and ready for tracking in purchases and usage.
